Direct Support Professional
All Shifts needed for weekends, and 3-11 and 11-7shifts on weekdays. Responsible for assisting the Residential Supervisor with the physical care, guidance, and supervision of Intellectually Disabled individuals in a group home and or day support setting. Performs activities and duties to help individuals develop acceptable habits and attitudes; helps the individuals meet the outcomes of any service or behavioral plan; ensures daily needs and health and safety of the individual are met; assist individuals with daily hygiene and personal living skills; complete data collection in accord with a person-centered plan; responds quickly and appropriately to unpredictable behavior and circumstances. Other duties as required. 2 years experience and valid, active and up to date drivers license are required.
This position is a Full-time position responsible for the primary and emergency medical care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The responsibilities include the treatment and care of the individuals, evaluate medical needs and make medical referrals, dispense medication, administer G-tube feedings, monitor vital signs, check MARs on a daily basis and control med sheets, monitor implementation and maintenance of OSHA, state, and United & Empowered Care, Inc. policies and procedures, monitors medical equipment and supplies, monitors staff medical care performance on a regular basis and provides feedback, meets regularly with facility directors and staff.
Human Resources/Administrative Assistant
Responsible for the organization and coordination of the Human Resources department to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency; organize hiring, orientation and training of new staff members and process new hire paperwork; responsible for maintaining employee filing systems; ensuring that they are current; establish and monitor procedures for record keeping; track and schedule training for employees as needed to ensure that all training remains current; ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data; Type correspondence; create spreadsheets; power points and other duties as needed.
Requirements: High school diploma with 2 - 5 years of administrative and supervisory experience; Strong oral and written communication skills; must be able to multi-task; must possess the ability to work with Microsoft office suite, create spreadsheets and power point; ability to type 60 - 75 words per minute.
Assists the Program Director with maintaining the day to day operations of the Residential Program; Monitors staff performance and provides feedback; Conducts assessments and Monitors Person Centered Plans; works as the liaison between families, caseworkers and guardians of the individuals; Monitors equipment and supplies; Evaluates individuals referred and receiving services; Monitors implementation of programs; Coordinates and monitors the documentation process; Orientates and trains supervisors; Investigates individual and staff incidents and completes required documentation; Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for this position include strong supervision skills; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, community and staff; investigative and interviewing skills; ability to analyze findings identify problems and formulate solutions; possess caring and positive attitude; Associates degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities; 2 years supervisory experience. Program Manager must serve as QMRP and must also possess a valid driver's license. This position requires the successful completion of criminal history and central registry background investigations.
